CRusched Smash & Art Studio creators Cliff and Christma Rusch, both being in long-term recovery from substance abuse disorder as well as leaders in Manitowoc's recovery movement, are branching out with daughter Aria and this new social enterprise with a mission to reduce stigma surrounding mental health and to provide a safe and supportive space for you to express yourself!

The Rusch family is passionate about the community they grew up in and helping its people. In 2018 they opened a successful recovery center and have stayed committed to their involvement in assisting others to heal from SUD (Substance Use Disorder). Now they feel it is time to do the same for the mental health world! Cliff and Christma both understand the depths of trauma, abuse, neglect, addiction, juvenile welfare, and the justice system. However, they have also grown to understand healing, hope, connection, courage, empowerment, and resiliency. They live to share this with all!

Our relationships? Our day to day lives? Why are smash rooms popping up at such a successful and rapid rate? Catharsis perhaps? (noun: the process of releasing, and thereby providing relief from, strong or repressed emotions.)
